The Beam Beanie is easily the best looking beanie I’ve owned. I really like the overall style, and the fog green colour works well with most of my winter and hiking clothes. It’s nice and thick, so it keeps my head warm even when the wind really picks up. It fits snug without feeling tight, and the merino wool makes it really comfortable to wear for long periods, even sleeping with it in my tent. I’ve taken it on a few hikes now and it handles sweat well and doesn’t end up smelling, which is a big plus. Hard to find anything wrong with this one, I love it.

The Aida Beanie has quickly become one of my favourites. It’s got a nice oversized fit, so you can fold it over for extra warmth when it’s really cold, and it still looks great either way. It’s easily one of the most comfortable beanies I’ve worn, thanks to the soft merino wool and the relaxed feel. Even after long hikes it doesn’t hold onto sweat or develop any smell, which makes a huge difference. The only thing I’d love to see is the Superyellow logo like on some of the other beanies, I think that would finish it off nicely.

Comfortable, warm toes = huge smile!
These socks initially seem like they might be overkill but instead they are perfect! Thick enough to keep out the cold of a Tasmanian winter but not too thick to wear in everyday shoes. The wool properties regulate temperature really well, and the technical design makes them supremely comfortable. And, they don’t fall down! During a gentle morning walk in -3C, with the Arctic socks inside normal sports shoes, my feet were comfortable, my shoes laced up normally, and I enjoyed the Goldilocks effect with the temperature of my toes and feet being just right.
